On this International Day for Street Children, we celebrate and advocate for millions of children around the world who are forced to live on the streets. Sadly, in Kitale, Kenya, a staggering 80% of street residents are over the age of 15 and lack access to education, healthcare, and basic necessities such as food and shelter.
This reality makes their chances of survival past their early to mid-twenties grim. But we can change this story through Milele, empowering them to create a better life for themselves and their families. Each person living on the streets in Kitale, Kenya is precious and has inherent worth and they were MADE TO THRIVE.
