Why youth?

Over 80% of children living on the streets of Kitale, Kenya are over the age of 14.

Why do they end up on the streets?

In Kitale, Kenya, hundreds of boys have found themselves on the streets due to various reasons: poverty, cultural conﬂict, abuse, and neglect. Exposed to both violence and drugs on the streets their lives become a struggle to survive. Without intervention, there is a small chance they will survive past their 20's.
