A New Car for the Milele Family

Our house parents are in need of a car! As of now, all movement happens via walking or bus. Transportation cost are getting high, and we need our own car!! Transportation would greatly impact the amount of travel, home visits, school orientations and family days we can provide.

We have students in schools spread across the country. This means TONS of extra travel for our house parents, who are committed to making sure every student is supported and cared for, even those who move far away for school! They never miss a family day, parent visit or family orientation. In addition to school visits, our social worker travels across the western region of Kenya to visit families in an attempt to restore and reintegrate our students. Access to our own vehicle, most likely a large van, means saving money and transporting our students safely to school, home and church.
